Suffering from Erectile Dysfunction? Sildenafil Can Help
Erectile dysfunction or commonly known as ED is when a man cannot get or keep an erection for sexual intercourse. And if you’re a patient of erectile dysfunction, the first thing to know is that you’re not alone.
There are various medicines available in the market that can help you with this problem. One of the best ones is Sildenafil. Let’s talk about how it works.
What Is Sildenafil?
Sildenafil (often sold as Viagra) is used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It belongs to a class of medications called phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors.
It can usually take thirty to sixty minutes for the medicine to work. And at least two-thirds of men have reported getting improved erections after taking it.
But you might be asking how does it work?
Well, Sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, and this acts as a temporary cure for erectile dysfunction. The increased blood flow can then lead to an erection.
How Sildenafil Can Help?
Sildenafil is one of the most highly effective treatments for ED in the UK. Typically sold in the form of tablets, it works by helping you get an erection when aroused.
However, you should also keep in mind that sildenafil is merely a temporary cure for erectile dysfunction and won’t help you fix it all together. It also won’t lead to sexual desire. So, it only works when you’re already sexually stimulated.
Meanwhile, Sildenafil also can’t prevent pregnancy or the spread of sexually transmitted diseases such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
How Should This Medicine Be Used?
Sildenafil comes as a tablet and suspension, and both are taken by mouth. You can easily find it at our online pharmacy in the UK.
The best time to take sildenafil is about one hour before sexual activity. However, you may also take it any time from four hours to thirty minutes before sexual activity. Sildenafil shouldn’t be consumed more than once within 24 hours.
In any case, you should always consult your doctor before you commit to taking this medicine for the long term.
