This inhibits nerve impulses responsible for involuntary movement of the smooth muscles thus, reduces spasms of the muscles of the gut.

Dosage

For Adults and Children Older Than 12 Years

The usual dosage for adults and children older than 12 years is one or two tablets 3 times a day.

For Children 2 To 11 Years of Age

For two to eleven year old children the usual dose of Merbentyl Dicycloverine is one tablet 3 times a day. Merbentyl syrup can also be used for this age group.

  • If you forget to take your dose on time, take it as soon as you remember. Skip the first dose altogether if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.
