Why Take Cialis for Erectile Dysfunction?
Dealing with impotence can be tough thing for a man, but you don’t have to worry about it alone. If you’ve been considering taking some medication like Cialis for erectile dysfunction but aren’t sure whether to go through with it, then you’ve come to the right place. Let’s start with the basics.
What Is Cialis?
Cialis is a type of Tadalafil medication used to treat male sexual dysfunction, such as impotence erectile dysfunction (ED). It can also be used for other purposes, such as the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) but in this case, let’s talk about how it can help with ED.
Apart from leading to better sexual stimulation, Cialis (Tadalafil) works by increasing blood flow to the penis, helping the patient get (and keep) an erection. This combination of relaxation and increased blood flow allows the penis to fill with blood, which results in an erection.
That aside, it’s important to remember that Cialis only works if you’re sexually aroused.
How To Take Cialis?
For the treatment of erectile dysfunction or ED, there are two ways that your doctor can prescribe Tadalafil. It can vary for different patients, and therefore, you should always consult your doctor before starting treatment.
The first way would be to take it as needed - usually at least 30 minutes before any sexual activity. Cialis's effect on sexual ability may last up to 36 hours, which doesn’t mean that your erection will last that long but that you’ll be able to have it during that period.
The second way would be to take Cialis regularly, once per day. When you do it in this way, you may attempt sexual activity at any time between your doses.
Should You Take Cialis?
Cialis is a relatively effective medicine for ED and is known to last a lot longer in your body than other substitutes. It’s an FDA approved drug and considered safe to use.
However, some possible side effects may also occur, such as headaches, upset stomach, back pain, muscle pain, stuffy nose, flushing, and dizziness.
Overall, these side effects may occur for some people but they don’t for everyone. So, if you’re considering taking Cialis (Tadalafil) for erectile dysfunction, it’s always a good idea to consult your doctor first.
