What is Zoton Lansoprazole?
The active substance in Zoton is lansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor. Proton pump inhibitors decrease the amount of acid the stomach generates.
How does it work?
Lansoprazole is a gastric proton pump inhibitor. Inhibits the final stage of the formation of gastric acids by inhibiting H + activity/K + ATPase of the parietal cells of the stomach. This inhibition is dose-dependent and reversible, and the effect is applied to secretion both as stimulated by gastric acids. Lansoprazole is concentrated in the parietal cells and becomes active in its acidic environment, where it reacts with the sulfhydryl group of H +/K + ATPase, producing the inhibition of enzyme activity.
What are the benefits of taking it?
