About Nebido

Nebido injections are manufactured by Bayer AG and are used for testosterone replacement therapy in men with hypogonadism. This is an androgen and anabolic steroid medication and when it is injected, it gets released into the blood stream and immediately increases testosterone levels. The second dose should be given after 6 weeks of the initial dose and other subsequent injections are given every 12 weeks. The common side effects of Nebido may include acne, increased hair growth, voice changes, hypertension (high blood pressure), elevated liver enzymes, hypertriglyceridemia, and increased sexual desire.
