Proctosedyl Ointment
This product contains an anesthetic called Cinchocaine Hydrochloride and also Hydrocortisone. While the first helps to relieve pain and relax sphincteric spasms, the latter works to reduce inflammation.
Proctosedyl ointment should only be used for short term relief (not more than seven days) of pain and irritation because of hemorrhoids.
