If you aren’t already, you should always peek at your toilet bowl before you flush. The colour of your urine can tell you a lot about your urinary health as well as your overall health. The urine is a mix of water and waste that your kidney has filtered from your blood. The yellowish colour is caused by a pigment your body produces called urobilin or urochrome. When you’re well hydrated and in good health, your urine should be pale yellow (the colour of light honey). Anything other than this can be a sign of something more serious going on.
