About Zelleta Tablets
Buy Zelleta Online UK
Zelleta is a highly effective contraceptive pill that contains the synthetic progesterone desogestrel. The dose of progesterone is slightly higher than other brands of mini pill, which means it is more likely to prevent periods. Zelleta is known as a mini pill or progesterone only ‘pop’ pill because it doesn’t contain oestrogen found in combined contraceptive pills, the patch or the vaginal ring. Zelleta is over 99% effective when taken correctly and it can be used as a long term reversible contraceptive.

What is Zelleta?
Zelleta is used to prevent pregnancy. Zelleta contains a small amount of a type of female sex hormone, the progestin desogestrel. For this reason, Zelleta is known as a progestogen-only pill or mini-pill. Unlike the combination pills, the minipill does not contain estrogen-type hormones along with the progestogen. Most progestin-only pills or mini-pills work primarily by preventing sperm from entering the uterus, but they do not always prevent the egg from maturing, which is the main action of combination pills. Zelleta is different from other mini-pills in that it has a dose that in most cases is high enough to prevent the egg from maturing. Therefore, Zelleta provides high contraceptive efficacy.
Unlike the combination pill, Zelleta can be taken by women who do not tolerate estrogens and women who are breastfeeding. One downside is that you may experience irregular vaginal bleeding while using Zelleta. It may also not bleed.

When and how to take Zelleta
The Zelleta blister contains 28 tablets. There are arrows printed on the front of the blister, between the tablets. If you flip the blister and look on the back, you will see the days of the week printed on the foil. Each day corresponds to one tablet.
Each time you start a new blister of Zelleta, take one tablet from the top row, but not just any tablet. For example, if you start on a Wednesday you will need to take the tablet from the top row that is marked (behind) WED. Continue taking one tablet daily until the blister is empty, always following the direction of the arrows. Looking at the back of the blister you can easily check if you have already taken your tablet on a given day.
Take your tablet at around the same time each day, swallowing it whole with water. Some bleeding may occur while using Zelleta but you should continue to take the tablets normally. When you finish a blister you should start a new one the next day, therefore without leaving any rest day and without waiting for bleeding to appear.
Side effects & precautions
Like all medicines, zelleta tablets can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Vaginal bleeding may occur irregularly during the use of Zelleta, which may be a light spot that may not even need a compressor more heavy bleeding, which closely resembles low menstruation and requires the use of hygienic protection. It can also happen that you never have bleeding. Irregular bleeding is not a sign that Zelleta contraceptive protection is decreasing. In general, you do not need to do anything, just continue taking Zelleta. However, if the bleeding is heavy or prolonged, see your doctor.
Zelleta users have reported the following side effects:
