Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, this is Vipidia’s primary feature, and it is very effective at lowering post-meal blood sugar spikes. Increasing insulin production after a meal can help to lower blood glucose levels after eating. This makes it a valuable tool for managing rapid increases in blood sugar that can occur in patients with type 2 diabetes.

If you have a history of heart disease, then you should be safe to use Vipidia for type 2 diabetes. However, you should consult with your healthcare professional in case any additional treatments are needed to reduce the risk of any adverse effects.

Vipidia can lower the risk of hypoglycemia because it increases insulin in the body only when your blood sugar rises. However, when used in combination with other medicines, make sure you keep an eye on your blood sugar in case any other medicines can cause blood sugar levels to lower.

Vipidia should not be used by individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to a lack of sufficient data confirming its safety. If you are considering using this medicine or have type 2 diabetes and require guidance, speak to your healthcare provider for further advice.

Vipidia does not require special storage conditions, but to keep it at its optimum effectiveness, you should store it in a cool, dry place away from moisture and sunlight. Make sure to keep the medication in its original packaging within its blister packs to maintain its effectiveness.

Vipidia acts like other DPP-4 inhibitors by targeting incretin hormones to increase insulin production and reduce glucose output in the liver. However, it may differ from other DPP-4 inhibitors in aspects such as efficacy, side effects, and dosing instructions. Your healthcare professional can help you determine whether Vipidia is suitable for you compared to alternative options.
