How do Wegovy tablets work?
Wegovy tablets work by delivering semaglutide into the body, where it mimics a naturally occurring hormone called GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1). This hormone helps regulate appetite by acting on areas of the brain responsible for hunger and fullness, helping you feel satisfied after eating while reducing food cravings between meals.
Unlike the weekly injection, the Wegovy tablet is absorbed through the stomach after being taken on an empty stomach.
