ConvaTec's SurePress Absorbent Padding provides a comfortable, non-woven surface to be applied to more fragile wound beds, specifically ulcers of the venous type. It's specially designed to add a cushioned layer to protect bone prominence when paired with SurePress Compression Bandages. As this padding is extremely absorbent, it's ideal to use as an absorbent dressing for wounds, or as a secondary wound dressing.

How do I use Surepress Absortbant Pad?

To be applied undeneath compression bandage and secured by compression bandage. Please clean and sterilise the wound prior to use.

Warnings

The initial use of Surepress Compression Bandage should be under the direction of a health care professional. If there is any redness, irritation, if toes become discolored black or blue, remove the bandage and consult a health care professional. Do not continue use if it is for arterial and mixed venous/arterial ulcers or legs with an ankle circumference less than 18cm. As with all Surepress products, they should not be used on individuals with a known sensitivity to the product or its components.
