Synphase is a combined hormonal contraceptive pill, so it uses the hormones estrogen and progesterone together to prevent unwanted pregnancies. It has 3 phases during treatment, which use 2 different doses. They are checked every time a woman can get pregnant. Buying Synphase changes the amount of these hormones in a woman's body to prevent her from getting pregnant. This means that you will receive two types of pills to take in each pill pack, and both types will have different levels of progesterone in them (500µg and 1000µg). Each pill will contain the same amount of estrogen (35µg), it is only the progesterone dose that will change during the menstrual cycle. It is about mimicking the natural hormonal changes in your body during each menstrual cycle. Symphase is sometimes mistakenly called a triphasic pill. That's because you use two different doses in three steps. It starts with 7 blue 500 µg (microgram) norethisterone tablets, followed by 9 white 1 mg (mg) norethisterone tablets, and ends with 5 blue 500 µg norethisterone tablets.

About Synphase Tablets

Buy Synphase online now.

Synphase is an oral contraceptive tablet for women.

Synphase is one of a group of medicines called combined oral contraceptives or “the Pill” for short.

Synphase contains two hormones, a progestogen hormone called norethisterone and an oestrogen hormone called ethinylestradiol. These two hormones act together to prevent a pregnancy from occurring.

People also ask

What is Synphase?

The Synphase pill is a type of hormonal contraceptive commonly known as the 'pill' or the combined oral contraceptive pill. Synphase tablets contain two active ingredients, ethinyl estradiol, and norethisterone. These are synthetic versions of the natural female sex hormones estrogen and progesterone. Ethinyl estradiol is a synthetic version of estrogen, and norethisterone is a synthetic form of progesterone.

How does it work?

Your monthly cycle is controlled by two main hormones, estrogen and progesterone. Estrogen levels rise after menstruation, causing an egg to develop and be released by your ovaries (ovulation). The lining of the uterus thickens in preparation to receive the fertilized egg. After ovulation, progesterone helps the lining of the uterus thicken even more.

The egg goes down the fallopian tube, and if you don't get pregnant, your body naturally absorbs it. The levels of estrogen and progesterone in your body decrease and the lining of the uterus peel off causing a menstrual period.

Hormonal contraceptives contain artificial (synthetic) versions of the hormones. These mimic the effect of estrogen and progesterone on your body. When hormonal contraceptive methods are taken properly, they interfere with your regular monthly cycle and prevent pregnancy.

This Hormonal contraceptive pill works in three ways:

  • Preventing your ovaries from releasing the egg
  • Thickening the mucus in your cervix (cervix), making it more difficult for sperm to enter your uterus and fertilize the egg
  • Making the lining of the uterus too thin to allow a fertilized egg to implant.

What are the benefits of taking it?

Synphase is a birth control pill. The synthetic hormones in it, norethisterone and ethinyl estradiol provide birth control by simulating the action of progesterone and estrogens and preventing the processes that make pregnancy possible.

How do I use it and its dosage?

Synphase is a triphasic pill. Each 21-day pack contains three types of tablets, each with a slightly different dose of hormones. There are seven blue tablets containing 35 micrograms of ethinyl estradiol and 500 micrograms of norethisterone, nine white tablets containing 35 micrograms of ethinyl estradiol and 1 mg of norethisterone, then five more blue tablets containing 35 micrograms of ethinyl estradiol and 500 mg of norethisterone.

Synphase tablets should be taken in the order specified on the package, starting with the blue tablet marked '1'. You take one tablet every day for 21 days, and then you take a seven-day break. During your seven-day break, the levels of the hormones in your blood drop, resulting in extraction bleeding that is similar to your normal period. Start the next pack after the seven days are up to without pills, even if you are still bleeding.

Side effects & precautions

All hormonal contraceptives can have some side effects, but they are not common. In most women, the benefits of hormonal contraception outweigh the risks. Listed below are some of the main Synphase side effects of hormonal contraceptives.

The combined oral contraceptive pill, patches, and ring can increase your risk of developing blood clots in your veins (deep vein thrombosis, or DVT). This risk is very small - less than the risk of deep vein thrombosis naturally associated with pregnancy.

The combined oral contraceptive pill, patches, and ring are also linked to a slightly higher risk of developing breast or cervical cancer. However, this is thought to return to normal within 10 years of discontinuing contraceptive use. Such hormonal contraceptives are thought to protect against ovarian cancer.

Progestogen pills can cause headaches, mood swings, and breast tenderness. They can also cause discomfort and make your abdomen (belly) swell. Generally, these side effects of these hormonal contraceptives decrease after several months.

Depo-Provera, a progestogen contraceptive injection. The disadvantage of birth control injection is that it can cause temporary thinning of your bones. It can also cause weight gain. Women taking Depo-Provera also note that it takes six to 12 months for periods to return to normal and that there is a delay in becoming pregnant after giving the injection.

Sometimes an intrauterine system can cause an infection in the first 20 days after it is inserted. There is also a small chance that the intrauterine system will be expelled from the uterus upon insertion.

Many forms of hormonal contraception will cause changes in your menstrual pattern. You may have irregular or no bleeding, or intermittent bleeding, during the period when you are taking hormonal contraceptives.
