Evorel is also important in the prevention of osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is the weakening of the bones, which makes them fragile and may lead to breaking and fractures. The disease results from the reducing levels of oestrogen which affects the bones at menopause. One of the HRT benefits is that it can be prescribed to prevent the weakening of the bones in postmenopausal women. Evorel in osteoporosis can also be used in reducing the risk of getting fractures in individuals who have the disease.
Evorel patches are effective in reducing the symptoms experienced during menopause and in preventing osteoporosis. However, they are only appropriate if recommended to patients with a case of hysterectomy.
