The waterproof barrier helps against viral and bacterial penetration. The soft foam pad of Aquacel AG helps to absorb fluid. This contours to the wound bed, which minimizes the space where bacteria can grow and also helps to maintain a moist wound environment. These also help to prevent lateral spread of fluid for reduced risk of maceration.

Additional tape will be required to secure the Aquacel Foam non-adhesive dressing in place. Place the center pad in contact with your wound and smooth down the edges of the dressing into place. Then fold the dressing over the bottom of the heel and smooth down to complete the application.

Sterility is guaranteed unless the pouch is opened prior to use or damaged. This is for single use only and should not be reused. If the patient has sensitive skin or is allergic to dressing, this is not recommend.
