Allevyn ADHESIVE Dressings are indicated for exudate absorption and the management of partial to full-thickness wounds. Some typical wounds are: ulcers (venous, arterial, diabetic, pressure), donor sites, surgical incisions, surgical excisions and first and second degree burns.

Do not use Allevyn Non-Adhesive dressings with any oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solution or hydrogen peroxide. These can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing. There can be cases of irritation and/or maceration of the skin that surrounds the wound. If there is inappropriate use or too frequent dressing changes, especially in patients with fragile skin, this can result in skin stripping.
