Allevyn Non-ADHESIVE dressing is a hydrocellular dressing which is water and bacteria proof. The hydrocellular structure allows for the maintenance and formation of a moist wound environment.

What are the benefits?

• No debris is left in the wound which makes it easy for dressing changes
• Conformable and able to be cut to suit many wound shapes and locations
• The pink film is waterproof and aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination
• The progression of exudate is visible through the pink top film

How do I use Allevyn Non-Adhesive Dressing?

Allevyn ADHESIVE Dressings are indicated for exudate absorption and the management of partial to full-thickness wounds. Some typical wounds are: ulcers (venous, arterial, diabetic, pressure), donor sites, surgical incisions, surgical excisions and first and second degree burns.

Warnings

Do not use Allevyn Non-Adhesive dressings with any oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solution or hydrogen peroxide. These can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing. There can be cases of irritation and/or maceration of the skin that surrounds the wound. If there is inappropriate use or too frequent dressing changes, especially in patients with fragile skin, this can result in skin stripping. If any redness or sensitivity occurs, please discontinue use.
