Allevyn Gentle is a versatile, comfortable, and adaptable dressing which is suitable for a variety of wounds. Allevyn Gentle is a non-bordered foam dressing which is soft, gentle, and can be easily cut. Allevyn Gentle’s multi-way stretch feature means it can be used for areas that are normally difficult to bandage.

What are the benefits?

• The gentle adhesive allows the dressing to come off lightly meaning dressing changes are much less painful
• The waterproof outer film helps to protect the wound
• It can be worn for longer periods of time meaning fewer dressing changes
• Helps to maintain an optimal moist wound environment to promote faster healing
• The gel adhesive holds the dressing in place during application which helps make applying the dressing easier
• Retains, absorbs and transpires exudate to provide optimal fluid management

How do I use Allevyn Gentle?

Allevyn Gentle is used as wound management by secondary intention on granulating, shallow wounds, acute and chronic exudating wounds, full and partial-thickness wounds including: leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, first- and second-degree burns, skin graft donor site, skin tears and pressure ulcers.

Warnings

Do not use Allevyn Gentle dressings with any oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solution or hydrogen peroxide. These can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing. When these are used under compression, Allevyn Gentle can become dislodged if the limb experiences a rapid reduction in oedema. If any redness or sensitivity occurs, please discontinue use and consult your healthcare professional.

Quick turnaround and good communications

My experience has been very positive from start to finish for additional Thyroxine tablets. I completed the online registering and consultation with my request on Friday, giving a full explanation of why I wanted additional Thyroxine (I have no Thyroid Gland and am exhausted). I was put off a bit by the bad reviews, I usually don’t post reviews, but I felt like I needed to this time. I ordered my product which is currently in short supply, after filling health questionnaire, I was contacted in couple of days advising I’ve passed the assessment and they will continue with the dispatch. Although it was meant to be next day, I received another email apologising about a delay. I was expecting to wait few more days or even weeks, as they explained the situation on shortage. Thanking me for my patience. Only a day later I received that item has been dispatched. I really can’t fault pharmacy planet and will continue to order with them. Very good experience, recieved emails to keep me up to date with whats happening, i tried another chemist first called "SimpleOnlinePharmacy" but they rejected my order for some reason with no reason or update on why. So i found PlanetPharmacy and i'll get my inhalors here from now on. I play football a lot so i need my Blue Inhalor for this before and after a game. But im really clumsy and lose my inhalors a lot and the ones i get from my chemist are a cheap copy of the Ventolin that clog up, but Planet Pharmacy give u the proper Ventolins that never clog up or break. So thanks and will be back soon if i need anything from a pharmacy. Also quick delivery.10/10.
