Allevyn AG Sacrum is indicated for the exudate absorption and management of partial to full thickness wounds:

Donor Sites
Surgical Excisions
Surgical Incisions
First and second degree burns
Moist wound environments have been established as optimal environments for the management of the wound.

Warnings

Do not use Allevyn AG Sacrum dressings with any oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solution or hydrogen peroxide. These can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing. There can be cases of irritation and/or maceration of the skin that surrounds the wound. If there is inappropriate use or too frequent dressing changes, especially in patients with fragile skin, this can result in skin stripping. If any redness or sensitivity occurs, please discontinue use.
